Kristen Stewart Furious Over Backlash, Wants Rupert Sanders Held Accountable

Kristen Stewart is reportedly furious over the recent media backlash that she is facing as a result of her affair with Rupert Sanders, and new reports suggest that she believes that the public should blame him and not her.

On Wednesday, it was reported that the 22-year-old actress had been dropped from a "Snow White and the Huntsman" sequel over her tryst with Sanders, the man who directed the film. In conjunction with her career now being negatively affected, hoards of fans continue to hurl abuse at Stewart via social networking sites- all of which she reportedly believes is unfair.

Stewart allegedly thinks that 41-year-old Sanders, a married father of two, should be blamed over their affair because he was "in a position of power over her," a source told TMZ.com.

"Twilight" fans have been consistently hurling insults at Stewart via Twitter using words such as "trampire" and "homewrecker" to vent their disgust- actions the actress allegedly believes is undeserved. It could be argued that she was simply younger, less experienced, and ultimately far less culpable than Sanders, as actress and mentor Jodie Foster pointed out.

In July, Stewart, who was actor Robert Pattinson's girlfriend of three years, admitted to having an affair with Sanders in her public admission.

"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," Stewart said in a public statement.

Photographs of her tryst with Sanders were released by the media, which also prompted a public statement from Sanders. He cheated on Liberty Ross, his wife of 10 years, and new reports suggest that he is extremely regretful.

"Rupert is willing to do absolutely anything and everything he can to save his marriage, he realizes this is the worst mistake of his life, and he cannot believe he was so stupid," a source told RadarOnline.com. "The thought of losing his wife and children, who he loves more than anything in the world is killing him."

Along with rumors of a potential pregnancy, Stewart is now reportedly also facing backlash from her own family. They have reportedly turned against her over the situation.

"[Her parents] feel Kristen has really embarrassed herself and don't blame Rob for not calling her back," a source told Us Weekly Magazine. "This is not the Kristen they know."

Pattinson recently took part in his first interviews since news of Stewart's affair scandal broke out, although the actor has skillfully avoided questions regarding the matter.
