Lamborghini Aventador Blasted With a Rock by Old Man, $400,000 Supercar Peels Off (VIDEO)

A Lamborghini Aventador was pelted with a rock by an angry elderly man this week, and the entire interaction was captured on a video which is now becoming widespread. The $400,000 black and yellow supercar was speeding down a residential road when the man stopped him and threw two rocks at the two people inside.

The Lamborghini Aventador video was posted to YouTube Friday, though the author didn't say when or where the incident took place. It shows the car driving fairly fast— some have estimated the speed to be up to 60 mph— down a neighborhood street, with the driver revving its engine loudly.

Suddenly, the 700-horsepower roadster had to come to a stop as an irate elderly man in a light blue t-shirt stepped near the front of the car wielding a large rock.

"Keep racing! Keep racing! Keep doing it," he yelled as the driver hesitated, unsure of what to do. "You piece of s---!" he added.

As the Lamborghini Aventador started to pull off the man began chasing them, throwing the rock very hard against the car's exterior. The audible thud caused the driver to pause again, but as the man took out another rock from his back pocket, the driver pulled off in the supercar.

The reaction to the video has many divided: while some feel the driver deserved the man's vitriol for possibly racing up and down a neighborhood street, others felt that damaging a $400,000 car was way out of line.

"If you want to keep 'racers!' off your street, call the cops, call the city council and have a speed bump installed, whatever," MotorAuthority.com wrote. "Just don't do what this guy did. Ever."

"I'm sympathetic to the guy with the rock," one user wrote on YouTube. "Even if the car wasn't drag racing … they can run 110 [decibels] of noise just driving around slowly in a residential neighborhood, and that's just unnecessary and obnoxious as hell."

"I would [have] gotten out of the car and beat … the guy. Even if it was a cheap a-- $500 car I would be so pissed some idiot chucked a rock at it," another said.
