3. Prayer to Jesus after $16 million Pokémon card sale

During a February livestream, in which the social media personality sold a Pokémon card for a record-breaking $16 million, Paul paused for a moment of prayer.

Paul opened the prayer by referring to the Lord as "Dear God, creator of the universe, Jesus," and thanking Him for bringing people together to “experience history together in one place.”

“This is really what the hobby is all about, this thing that we love so much,” he said before jokingly praying for a Charizard Pokémon card. “God, if it is your will, whatever blessings you bestow upon us, we are happy to accept with open arms."

The scene was met with mixed reactions on Instagram, with some celebrating the influencer’s actions while others described it as “blasphemous.”
