Maci Bookout Back on MTV in 'Being Maci' (VIDEO)

Fans of "Teen Mom" are thrilled that MTV will be featuring a one-hour special featuring Maci Bookout and son Bentley after a "16 & Pregnant" marathon next month.

Bookout first appeared on "16 & Pregnant" then moved on to "Teen Mom," where everyone watched her deal with the struggles of being a single parent after her baby's father, Ryan, proved not to be very helpful. Bookout went to college to earn a degree in journalism and focused on raising Bentley.

According to MTV, the special, "Being Maci," will pick up where Bookout is now and focus on her relationships with friends and, of course, her ex, Ryan. He and girlfriend Dalis get into a fight, and "he and Maci find themselves in familiar, flirty territory," MTV notes.

Bookout has maintained a working relationship with MTV, hosting the "Teen Mom 2" online After Show. She will continue to do so and then add the same responsibility for the upcoming season of "Teen Mom 3," which premieres on Monday, August 26.

"I absolutely can't wait for this show… I loved Maci, Bently (sp), and Ryan too," MTV reader Jamie noted.

"Glad to see someone from season one being progressive and positive," added Aliya. "Bentley looks like a really beautiful blend of both his parents and hopefully this special will show how they've matured more for the sake of their little man. I'll be watching."

In other "Teen Mom" news, Catelynn and Tyler are currently starring on VH1's "Couples Therapy" and working through issues before they get married. They tentatively called off their wedding but are back on to exchange vows at some point. The two were unique to the series because they chose adoption for their daughter, Carly.

Farrah Abraham went on to star in an intimate video, release her memoirs and a CD, and is still raising daughter Sophia on her own. Amber Portwood is still behind bars but is working to stay clean and sober and work on her relationship with her daughter and ex-boyfriend, Gary.

Bookout's show will air on Sunday, August 18, at 10:00 p.m. ET.
