'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 2 Spoilers: Melinda May's Secret Origin Revealed

Things are definitely getting more intense and exciting as the second season of the hit crime fighting TV drama series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." continues on this week with a brand new episode titled "Melinda."

And just as the title suggests, spoiler reports indicated that this segment will unravel the story of agent Melinda May's (Ming-Na Wen) transformation into "The Cavalry" when she finds herself torn in the war between Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Gonzales (Edward James Olmos), the two leaders who claimed to handle the "right" S.H.I.E.L.D. agency.

Fans will finally be able to take a deeper glimpse on Wen's interesting agent character as she has been seen at odds with Coulson's decision regarding Skye's (Chloe Bennett) newly-found Inhuman powers.

Speaking of Skye, the synopsis from The Futon Critic says that the agent will finally learn more about her true heritage thanks to the "charismatic" Inhuman Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) who was enlisted to help Skye understand more of her Inhuman nature.

A report from Mstarz indicated that the details for the upcoming episode slated to air this April 28 has already been posted by ABC.

Titled "The Dirty Half Dozen," the segment will see Gonzales and Coulson setting their political differences aside and working together to solve a Hydra-related incident, "even if it means teaming up with someone they don't trust."

For the meantime, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 Episode 17 airs this Tuesday, April 14 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
