Miley Cyrus' Halloween Costume is Raunchy Lil Kim, Celebrities Imitate Singer's Outfit at VMAs

Miley Cyrus' Halloween costume was rapper Lil' Kim in her infamous appearance at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. That year, the female emcee showed up in a lewd sequined outfit, covered up by a pasty, and Cyrus imitated her Wednesday for this year's festivities.

Miley Cyrus' outfit was very detailed, emulating Lil Kim's look down to the smaller details. She too dressed in a purple wig, though it was a darker shade than the rapper's. Cyrus donned a sequined dress, but also had a necklace and more elaborate makeup as well.

Cyrus' getup wasn't the only raunchy image she provided that evening. She also tweeted to her followers practically pornographic pumpkin carving images during the night.

The "We Can't Stop" singer might have dressed in the wildest outfit from a decade ago, but many more celebrities decided to dress like the most polarizing artist today- Cyrus herself.

Jenny McCarthy dressed as Cyrus' tongue hanging out of her mouth, and tweeted the picture to her many followers.

"Yes indeed I am Miley's tongue. I craved sledgehammers all day," she captioned the picture.

Joan Rivers parodied Miley's VMA nude-colored bikini, but instead of being thin and lithe like the singer, she had a fat suit that made her look bloated.

"Here we are on the red carpet!" she tweeted, showing a picture of the Fashion Police.

Hosts Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa of "Live With Kelly and Michael" took the outfits a bit further. Strahan donned the now-notorious black and white striped suit of Robin Thicke during his "Blurred Lines" performance, and Kelly Ripa dressed as Cyrus with the hair knots atop her head and the infamous foam finger prop.
