ABC's award-winning sitcom "Modern Family" is now set to air its sixth season on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. with the premiere episode entitled "The Long Honeymoon."

"This summer has been exceptionally blissful in the Dunphy house, Alex is away on a humanitarian trip and the rest of the family is getting along swimmingly, but when Alex comes home, there is an immediate shift in mood," the synopsis reads.

"Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) have returned from their honeymoon and Mitch is acclimating to real life much quicker than the still lovey-dovey Cameron. Meanwhile, reports confirmed the addition of new stars for this season's cast list which includes Steve Zahn who will be the "new nasty neighbor of the Dunphys." Adam DeVine is also returning as Andy, a situation which will cause Sara Hyland's Haley Dunphy to be torn between lovers as Reid Ewing's Dylan will be back too.

On the other hand, youngsters Luke (Nolan Gould) and Manny Delgado (Rico Rodriguez II) are getting more and more close with each other as they both now share the same interest: girls. Fans are already excited to know how Luke will fare with the ladies now that his "experienced" cousin has his back.

More faces to see in the premiere are Katelyn Dunkin as "Pretty Girl," Paolo Andino as Dan, and Joe Wengert as Elliot.
