The New England Patriots will play the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football to close out Week 11 in what is turning out to be an intriguing 2013 NFL season. Following New Orleans Saints' last second win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, the pressure is now on the Panthers to win today to stay within touch of the Saints at the top of the NFC South. Tonight's game from the Bank of America Stadium will see the Panthers go all out for victory against a powerful Patriots team that have only stumbled twice this season to date. The Panthers come into this game on 6-3, and are chasing the 8-2 Saints.

Meanwhile, the Patriots are comfortably clear at the top of the AFC East with a 7-2 record. They are being chased by the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins; both of whom are on 5-5. The pressure is certainly more on the Panthers tonight to get a result.

The Panthers are is good form, having defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34-10, and the San Francisco 49ers on the road last week 10-9. The Panthers have the top ranked defense in the NFL this season, and will provide a stern test of how effective the 11th ranked Patriots' offense is.

The Panthers will be looking to get right up in Tom Brady's face, and try and rush him and gain as many sacks as possible to disrupt his flow. Brady comes into this game on 194 of 340 for 2,256 yards and 13 touchdowns.

In the Patriots last outing two weeks ago they piled on 55 points against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 55-31 victory. They will be looking to turn the screw again tonight and Brady will be a central figure in how they attempt to dissect the Panthers solid defense.

The Patriots will be hoping to claim a win tonight to give them even more room at the top of the division, and especially as they will be playing the powerhouse Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning next week, they will be hoping to prepare as best possible with a solid victory tonight.
