'New Girl' Season 4 Finale Episode Spoilers: Pop Singer Taylor Swift and 'Teen Wolf' Star Dylan O'Brien to Guest Star

Excitement and anticipation for the Season 4 finale episode of Fox's hit sitcom "New Girl" is rising as it has been found out that the star-studded segment will feature a pop singer and a supernatural TV series actor.

The season ender titled "Clean Break" will see "Shake It Off" performer Taylor Swift. Although it won't be expected to be a lengthy one, the singer's role is said to be significant as she will play as a matchmaker, a report from TV Guide reads.

Aside from T-Swift, E! News confirmed earlier that "Teen Wolf" star Dylan O'Brien will also be coming over to the show to play as a "blast from Jess' past."

Meritt Wever of "Nurse Jackie" is also returning to play the role of someone's ex-girlfriend.

As for the beloved characters of the show, Max Greenfield said in an interview that there might be a possibility for his Schmidt and Hannah Simone's Cece to return on each other's arms.

Speaking to Bustle, Greenfield said: "We have this big moment at the end of Season 4, which I've been waiting for and a lot of people have been waiting for."

The actor went on to tease that this event will "change up a lot of how Schmidt will proceed in Season 5."

Speaking of Season 5, a report from Latin Post cited TV Line saying that network executives have already green-lit the series for yet another season and production is in fact, already undergoing.

For the meantime, don't miss the finale episode of "New Girl" Season 4 which will air this Tuesday, May 5, at 9 p.m. on FOX.
