Nolcha Fashion Week: New York presented by RUSK wrapped up its Fall/Winter 2014 season last week and impressionable designers still have the fashion world buzzing after making their mark on the runway at Chelsea Piers.

13 independent runway designers debuted distinct collections during what was otherwise New York Fashion Week uptown at the famous Lincoln tents. Amongst the sea of fashion lovers were stylists, fashion bloggers, buyers and various celebrities including "The Vampire Diaries" star Kat Graham, actress Jennie Garth and "Real Housewives of Atlanta's" Derek J.

5. Nina Athanasiou

Designer Nina Athanasiou incorporated funk and glam while showcasing clean yet edgy, timeless pieces, paraded by models donning retro wigs and Geisha style makeup.

4. Léka

Last year this Manhattan-based designer stunned fashionistas while showcasing her SS14 collection and last week was no different. Léka presented a cohesive collection with varied looks, filled with distinct fabrics and pops of color.

3. Christian Benner

This former visual merchandiser for Victoria's Secret prides himself on his "High fashion married to Rock and Roll" signature style. Benner's collection featured detailed '80s rock style statement jackets with futuristic elements and high fashion appeal.

2. Naveda Couture

Designer and Creative Director Amy Devan wowed the crowd with Naveda's ethereal collection, which featured intricate detail, sheer fabrics and minimalist hues.

1. Dany Tabet

Lebanese-born couture designer Dany Tabet garnered applause even before his show began after delivering a moving speech about war and peace in the Middle East. The collection, which featured bejeweled gowns and timeless pieces, was a combination of red carpet couture and Bollywood glamour.
