On the official "Duck Dynasty" social media account, the network A&E offered its condolences to the family.

"We are saddened to hear of the passing of Phil Robertson, a hunting industry pioneer and the patriarch of the beloved Robertson family," the network wrote. "Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time. We extend our deepest condolences and respect their privacy as they grieve."

Along with the post, the network shared a montage of Robertson's clips, including a short prayer he said before a meal: "Father, we do thank you for another good day here. You have been extremeley kind to us."
