The Suns have struggled greatly this season and are well below the .500 mark but getting a win over the Rockets should be a big feather on their caps as the Rockets are still considered an elite team in the tough Western Conference.

On the other hand, the Rockets have greatly struggled in consistency but still have enough time to get the ball rolling to make it to a good spot in the playoffs.

They have the personnel who can light up the scoreboard at any night but finding the right balance within the team has been a great issue for them.

James Harden is still one of the best players in the league on the offensive end, but being a liability on the defensive end has cost the Rockets. Even Dwight Howard's defensive prowess has not been enough to cover up what has been a poor performance from Houston in that end of play.

They constantly play around the .500 mark which is very surprising given the talent that the team has. Injuries and knocks have plagued the team, but with other players who can produce like Ty Lawson and Josh Smith, there should be no excuses on how the Rockets are performing this year.

If they falter against the Suns, it will be another struggle that the team will face and more questions are going to come up on how they will fare in the latter stages of the season.
