Photo: Casting Crowns Celebrates Success with New Award

We’ve heard their names in the headlines many times, over and over again, and the news is mostly good. Their success has been soaring as they have claimed #1 on many charts for astonishing lengths of time for songs such as, “If We Are One Body,” a quickly established hit single. Casting Crowns, the Atlanta-based group, was even named “Fastest Selling Artist of the Year” and at a recent dinner at Provident Music Distributor’s winter sales conference, the artist achievement was materialized into plaques. The plaques celebrate the band’s tremendous presence on Christian radio and on Christian retail markets.
