Planned Parenthood Blasted for Hiring Teens to Give 'Sex' Advice, March in Gay Parade

A Planned Parenthood group in New York has hired minors to participate in promoting the organization’s sex agenda, and even required them to participate in Albany's annual homosexual pride parade.

These teens are being recruited for “Seriously Talking About Responsible Sex” (STARS), a program that is used to educate young people on sex by using their own peers as advisors and counselors. The values of this program fall in line with the pro-choice perspective of Planned Parenthood.

This type of peer advising about sex-related issues is absurd, according to Duane Motley of New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms.

“The teens haven’t had enough experiences in like to really be any kind of experts on anything really, let alone talking about sex education and that sort of thing,” he told OneNewsNow.

The teenagers are hired for the organization as “peer educators.” Some of its applicants had to agree to attend Albany’s annual homosexual “pride” parade – a venue that exposes them not only to a sinful lifestyle, but scantily clad men and women, Motley stated.

“And to think that this is being funded by New York State taxpayers,” said Motley. “I’m sure that most taxpayers do not know this – and we’re going to do what we can to expose it and let the taxpayers know what their tax dollars are going for in New York. I don’t think they’re going to approve of this.”

Planned Parenthood also employed teenagers to make phone calls to promote New York’s homosexual “marriage” bill that passed and was signed into law in June 2011. Motley, however, feels that using young people for this type of a cause is inappropriate.

"Parents ought to know when their children get involved with Planned Parenthood they're going to be exposed to the homosexual lifestyle," Motley told The Christian Post.

Adding, "I hope that the taxpayers of New York will rise and demand that the funding for this is stopped."

Similar actions have been taken by a Planned Parenthood affiliate in Wisconsin where it recently announced that seven “youth health educators” would be hired to influence teens on sexual issues.

Planned Parenthood has yet to release a statement regarding the backlash the company is facing in regards to its hiring of minors.
