'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' News: Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump Talk About New Season

Season 5 of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is about to premiere this week, and original housewife Lisa Vanderpump and new housewife Lisa Rinna are talking about what fans can expect on the new season.

Vanderpump stopped by Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" to talk with Andy Cohen about her new spinoff, "Vanderpump Rules" and the upcoming season of RHOBH. On her rift with Brandi Glanville, she said, "I think we were on the right track and I did give it a second go-round, but if you see in the trailer she gets a little physical with me. She's stabbed me in the back and now she wants to slap me in the face."

On her being back for the fifth season, Vanderpump said to Cohen, "I entered with trepidation. I am glad and you were right because you told me not to leave on that note."

"I think the show is phenomenal, I think it's back to what it was. I'm very excited about it," she added.

Meanwhile, newcomer Lisa Rinna likened being on RHOBH to being on "Melrose Place," the hit '90s show that she starred in.

"This is very close to doing Melrose Place without a script in your hand," said Rinna in an interview with E! News. "Like everything in life, it's all about timing. It's funny, when I was on to Melrose Place it was year five. This is year five of Housewives …To be honest with you, after talking about it with my husband, it's been a really great gig for me."

On the season premiere trailer, Rinna was seen throwing a glass of wine at co-star Kim Richards. Rinna remained mum on the details, but said, "I can't say it's anything I would have ever expected or imagined to ever have happen in my life … most of my friends have ever heard me raise my voice or get angry, really … what I learned is I am fiercely protective of my family."

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" premieres its fifth season on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
