'Reign' Season 3 Episode 4 Spoilers: Mary Sought A Magic Healer To Help Francis

The hit historical fantasy romance TV series from The CW, "Reign," returns with an all-new episode for its third season this week and based on what the spoiler reports suggested, one life must be put in peril in order to save another.

Citing the report from Fashion and Style for the episode titled "The Price," it is said that Mary, the Queen of Scots, will be in a desperate situation of finding someone to cure her ailing husband, King Francis. Mary knows that losing the King of France will plunge the country into deeper trouble. Francis is only the person whom the Queen can turn into when it comes to dealing with her own realm of influence.

The promo video, shared by the media outlet, gives further hints of the critical situation that Mary will find herself in. As revealed, she will ask for her men to search for that one particular magic healer.

However, in exchange for the precious life of the king is another life that needs to be taken.

Desperate to see her husband well and looking after the greater good, Mary made the decision: "If the price is my life for his, bring him back," she says.

The clip didn't reveal the entire process that the Queen of Scots had to go through. However, the next scene that followed showed Francis suddenly waking up and gasping for breath.

As evident in the teaser, it appears that it isn't the time yet for the character to exit the show. Showrunner Laurie McCarthy previously confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Francis will be biting the dust this season, a move that will further thicken the plot, especially the issues between Narcisse and Catherine.

Needless to say, the monarch's exit will shake the French Court and a huge conflict for the regency will expectedly emerge.

For the meantime, fans will need to find out if the king does manage to wake up when "Reign" Season 3 Episode 4 airs this Friday, Nov. 6 on the CW.
