'Resurrection' Season 2 Spoilers, News: Rachel to Receive Unsettling News About Her Baby in 'Old Scars'
Season 2 episode 4 of the hit fantasy drama series "Resurrection," entitled "Old Scars," airs this coming Sunday, Oct. 19, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
An official synopsis for "Old Scars" is reported by The Futon Critic, via ABC Press Release.
"Margaret convinces Lucille to host a dinner to celebrate Jacob's return, but unexpected guests strain relations in the Langston family to the breaking point. Meanwhile, Bellamy continues to research the history of the mysterious bones, and Rachael receives unsettling news about her baby," the synopsis reads.
Rachael, played by Kathleen Munroe, was one of the most mysterious people who returned from the dead. Unlike everyone else, Rachael died with a baby inside.
Given that fact, fans are speculating how her pregnancy will turn out now that she's resurrected. Will the baby make it into the world alive? Or will her/his case be even more enigmatic than the already mysterious cases of the Returned?
In the recent sneak peek video, it indicates Rachael's baby growing faster than a human baby should develop inside the womb, and this could prove fatal for the mother.
Meanwhile, Margaret's (Michelle Fairley) idea of a homecoming dinner was seen by fans as her way to once again gain control of her family's lives. In the released promo pictures for the upcoming episode, they showed Barbara (April Billingsley) invited in the occasion.
As recalled, Barbara returned last season but hid from her husband Fred (Matt Craven) and instead stayed with a man she had an affair before she died. Will Maggie and the rest of the Langstons receive Barbara well?
