'Scandal' Season 4 Spoilers, News: Operation Find Olivia Pope
ABC's hit political thriller TV series "Scandal" returned for the second half of its fourth season with a bang. Fans saw crisis management expert Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) getting kidnapped by a band of masked men from her apartment and was taken to a building where she was kept as a hostage.
In this week's continuation of the heart-stopping drama, spoiler reports suggest that the Olivia situation will still be the focus of the story. An official synopsis for the episode titled "Where's the Black Lady" indicated that with Liv still missing, "the team comes together to do whatever it takes to find her and get her home safely."
Among those concerned are Jake (Scott Foley), Quinn (Katie Lowes), and Huck (Guillermo Diaz) who will offer the best of what they can do to pinpoint the whereabouts of their head Gladiator as well as find out who are the people responsible for Pope's abduction.
A series of promo pictures posted on TVFanatic also offered hints on what to expect on this week's segment.
In one of the images was U.S. President Fitz Thomas (Tony Goldwyn) holding a press conference at the White House. The publication noted that the presscon could have discussed anything, from Pope's dire situation to the declaration of war against West Angola.
Viewers may remember that the head of state was first reluctant to follow the demands thrown at him by Vice President Andrew Nichols (John Tenney) and Elizabeth North (Portia de Rossi).
Given the pressure, the head of state now has to rely on Jake and Co. to take on the task of ensuring the safety of his lover.
"Scandal" Season 4 episode 11 airs this Thursday, Feb. 5, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
