Star Wars Burgers are Out of this World

A fast food chain in Belgian has created some interesting hamburgers in an ode to "Star Wars" that is sure to draw interests from fans of the movies and food.

The restaurant called Quick, is making limited edition burgers that come in three flavors in promotion of "Star Wars Episode One: Phantom Menace 3D" premiere in Europe in February.

The themed burgers will make their debut January 31 in France, and have been building quite a buzz through the French advertisements. Perhaps Shine Food writer says it best, "the burgers have sent the entire Internet into a tailspin of equal parts repulsion and curiosity."

There is the Dark Burger (Darth Maul), which is a double cheeseburger on a seeded bun with mayo. The second burger is the Jedi (Yoda). It is also a double cheeseburger, but with cheese curd pellets mixed in.

The final burger is the most peculiar, The Dark Vador Burger (Darth Vader). It is also a double beef burger with cheese, and features a light salad on top. However, the strangest part is the pitch black bun. The burgers are expected to be around for a month after the launch, ending March 1.

Quick Restaurant's are trying to be innovative fast food hubs. Their website says of itself, "the only European fast food hamburger restaurant chain operating on an international scale."

So far the ingredients, how the burgers taste, and what they did to make the bun "black" are all under wraps.
