'Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens' latest news and spoilers: Rey might be a Jedi!

The latest "Star Wars" movie is just a few months away, and loyal Star Wars fans are getting more anxious to hear about the latest news from the upcoming movie.

Rumors that have recently been speculating now are about someone's identity being questioned. Rey, a human female scavenger, has always been so mysterious, and with a set of trading cards recently released, it hinted that she might be a Jedi.

The trading cards set also have a "Finn card," but it is notable that he did not get a Jedi stamp on the card, unlike Rey that has one. Finn has been rumored to become a future Jedi before, and fans are wondering if the plot will have Finn remain as a rebel, and never to become a Jedi.

Many are surprised to see Rey as a possible Jedi since she was never seen to use "The Force" or yield any lightsaber. Some are even suspecting that she is Princess Leia and Han Solo's daughter; however, this rumor was never backed up with any proof. Screen Rant described Rey as someone who "spent much of her life scavenging the desert of Jakku — in order to survive."

More details about Rey's history are also somewhat revealed in a description of Rey's costume in "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens." The description hinted that Rey may indeed be a future Jedi, according to iDigital Times. "Completely surrounded by Stormtroopers with blasters and Knights of Ren with lightsabers, she seems to be totally outnumbered. Unfortunately for her enemies, though, they've made a big mistake: it's not about the strength of the weapon, but the strength of the warrior that wields it," the description said.

Fans are definitely waiting for any confirmation to come soon about Rey's real identity. The movie is slated to premiere this Dec. 18.
