Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran: New Dating Reports, Swift Not Happy at Friend?

Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift are good friends. Even though tabloids and gossip blogs are insisting that there's something more other than friendship in their relationship, the two have denied it, and both maintain that things between them are entirely platonic.

However, things have recently changed as Sheeran has gone public with his girlfriend, Athina Andrelos. According to the Inquisitor, the brunette beauty currently works for Jamie Oliver's company Jamie Oliver Ltd. as a food team production assistant. She has reportedly been working for the company for five months, and she met Sheeran around the same time. Like her red-haired beau, Andrelos has a background in the music industry.

A source from British magazine Heat claims that Swift is worried about her friendship with Sheeran in light of the singer's new relationship with Andrelos, and the publication is reporting that the "Trouble" singer is miffed.

"She can't stand the fact that he's fallen for someone— Ed's been like her boyfriend substitute for the past 18 months, and suddenly he's not available for her anymore," said the source.

"She has met Athina and at first, she was ok about it. But now that Ed and Athina are getting more serious, she's turned into a green-eyed monster. Ed was always available 24/7, so if Taylor wanted to call him at 3am, it wasn't a problem, but suddenly it's awkward," the insider added.

Sheeran allegedly confronted Swift about her behavior, as the singer-songwriter was apparently concerned that Swift might begin affecting his relationship with Andrelos.

"Ed had a few quiet words with Taylor. It's difficult because he thinks the world of her and doesn't want to do anything to jeopardize their relationship. Some days Taylor texts and calls him 20 times," the source told Heat.
