'Tekken 7' Update: Game Absent From 2015 PlayStation Experience; PC Version Releasing Soon

The release date of Bandai Namco's "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" still remains a mystery to its fans as no official statement has been announced yet by the team behind it. According to a report by CrossMap, there is still no update on when the game will be out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Movie News Guide also reported that the hit fighting game was a no-show during the 2015 PlayStation Experience, which is an annual event organized by Sony Computer Entertainment that aims to advertise and reveal upcoming games for their flagship platform, Sony PlayStation.

In franchise director Katsuhiro Harada's Twitter, a fan tweeted to him a question asking if the "Tekken 7" was going to show up during the event. Harada simply answered, "I think not this time." With the amount of questions about the release date that Harada is getting, it's apparent that fans are really excited to already know when the game will come out to the consoles.

Attack of the Fanboy noted that some are hoping that it will arrive in late 2016. And hopefully, a PC version of the game will be available too.

Speaking of the PC version, Gaming Bolt reported that it's not far from possible that it will become a reality. According to another CrossMap report, another fan asked Harada via Twitter regarding steps should be taken if fans want a PC release for the game. Harada answered, "I'm readying your request already!!"

If the ninth main installment in the series does push through with a PC version, it will be the first time for the franchise to be released on that platform. No further details about the release of "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is available so fans will have to wait then.

In the meantime, the latest addition in the roster is the villain from the series "Street Fighter," Akuma, as noted in Games Radar.
