Although her parents did not yet comment on her death, a single sentence on the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation website confirmed the news: Terri's struggle for life has ended this morning. December 3, 1963 - March 31, 2005.

Schiavo, the disabled Florida woman at the heart of one of the most celebrated right-to-life disputes in the nation, drew her last breath nearly two weeks after her feeding tube was removed under a court order.
