'The Arrangement' Season 2 Spoilers: 'Glee' Star Jacob Artist Joins Cast in Recurring Role

When "The Arrangement" returns for its sophomore season next year, viewers are going to see new faces on their television screens.

Deadline reports actor Jacob Artist has landed a recurring role on "The Arrangement" season 2. He will be playing the role of Wes Blaker, who is described to be a "charming young man with a sharp sense of humor and a dark side."

The 24-year-old star is best known as Jake Puckerman, the love interest of Melissa Benoist's Marley Rose, on the musical television series "Glee," which ended in 2015. He also had a recurring role on ABC's "Quantico" as Brandon Fletchers.

It looks like the young actor's career is doing great as well because he is set to star in a horror film title "Party Crasher," which is directed by Brant Sersen.

Artist is the latest cast member added to the second season of E!'s hit series. Previously, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" actress Garcelle Beauvais and voice actor Ruffin Prentiss were also announced to have also landed recurring roles in the series.

Beauvais has been tapped to play a smart and charming businesswoman named Mason, while Prentiss is going to play Xavier Hughes, a famous jazz musician.

According to International Business Times, the plot details for "The Arrangement" season 2 are still unclear as of now. However, fans are said to be very curious about what Megan (Christina Evangelista) plans to do next season.

It can be recalled that at the end of the previous season's finale, she promised to burn down the Institute for the Higher Mind. Is she going to do any harm to Kyle (Josh Henderson)?

"Megan is at a point now where she either turns against him or she realizes that she wants to take him with her, and I'm not sure which direction it's going to go in," Evangelista said in an interview with TV Line back in May.

"I know that they genuinely love each other, and she wants to trust him, and perhaps she wants to help him in some way. Maybe a part of her plan is to get him out of the Institute? Or maybe it's to take them all down?" she added.

The premiere date for "The Arrangement" season 2 has not been set. Fans are encouraged to wait for more updates.
