'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' DLC Blood and Wine Release Date Leaked

Action role-playing hack and slash video game "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is going to get its second expansion Blood and Wine soon. The Country Caller reported that it's expected to arrive during the first half of the year. However, until now, developer CD Projekt RED has not made any announcement yet on the exact date of release. A Polish video game website has reported though that a release date has surfaced.

According to a report by Yibada, the website GRYOnline.pl revealed that the expansion pack will have a worldwide release on June 7. But until CD Projekt Red makes the official confirmation, the said date is a speculation. The website previously reported a release date of April 26 but it is not known why the listing has been changed.

The Polish video game developer has been very cautious about keeping details about the expansion under wraps but just recently, "The Witcher" Czech translator Filip Ženíšek spoke via an interview, as noted in WCCF Tech. The interview is found on "The Witcher" official Czech page and it is divulged that Blood and Wine will be coming with unusual quest full of songs, poetry and short stories.

The Witcher Czech translator Filip Ženíšek posted on The Witcher official Czech page, it's been revealed that Blood and Wine will include a rather peculiar quest full of songs, poetry and short stories. Translating the quest was quite difficult for Mr. Ženíšek, as he kept everything in the translation. He did not reveal any of the characters but he said, "For characters that I enjoyed translating, they were mostly characters that don't speak normal czech language – villagers, drunks, kids, trolls ect. But they aren't that common in next expansion."

He also said that the upcoming expansion pack will have an interesting use of language because of Toussaint, which is described to be a place like straight from fairy tale. When asked about the release date, Ženíšek said that he does know when it is but he will not reveal anything before the official announcement.
