House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., claimed voters saved the country by electing Trump to a second term.

"We have saved America," Johnson wrote. "The American people have spoken, and President Trump and Senator JD Vance are going to the White House. We are ready to get to work for the American people."

As of Wednesday afternoon, the race to control the U.S. House of Representatives remains undecided, though it favors Republicans, according to CNBC.
