Top conservative rebukes of Trump for 'grotesque' Rob Reiner death post: 'Completely inappropriate'
Christian voices: 'Grotesque'; 'Trump being classless'
Douglas Wilson, who serves as senior pastor at Christ Church (CREC) in Moscow, Idaho, said, "Not that there is really any ambiguity, but for the record, the president's response to the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele was grotesque."
Christian Broadcasting Network anchor David Brody described Trump's post as "so SAD," and "NOT just, 'Trump being Trump,'" but rather "Trump being classless."
Conservative Christian broadcaster Erick Erickson claimed even a relative he knows who generally supports Trump is wearying of the president's attitude.
"All those people who lost their jobs for their disgusting tweets about Charlie Kirk's assassination are staring at the President of the United States's social media account in disbelief," Erickson tweeted.
"A Trump-supporting relative last night told me he was getting tired of the President and wished he'd just disappear a bit. This is the sort of stuff that exhausts people who like the man," Erickson added in another post.
