Tottenham will play Arsenal in the English Premier League on Sunday in a game that Spurs must win if they are to keep their hopes alive of the top four finish and a Champions League spot for next season.

The Gunners though will be desperate to win today against their North London rivals, and they will be hoping to take advantage of Chelsea's slip up on Saturday after they fell to a bad defeat against Aston Villa.

At the moment the Gunners are on 59 points and lie in fourth place in the English Premier League. They are 7 points behind top placed Chelsea, but Arsenal have two games in hand – and if they win both they will move to within one point of the Blues.

In team news coming into today's game, Spurs defender Younes Kaboul is available after he successfully fought against his red card against Chelsea on appeal. But Michael Dawson and Kyle Walker are both likely out with injuries.

For Arsenal, Mesut Ozil, who has been having a tough time with his form of late, is out with a hamstring injury. Aaron Ramsey is also still sidelined and is not yet ready to play.

Spurs have been in terrible defensive form this season, and those frailties were embarrassingly exposed by Benfica during the week in the Europa Cup. They must get tighter and stop the attacking players from the Gunners if they are to cause a slight upset today.

Tim Sherwood blasted his Spurs players recently, and some feel he went too far. However, others have felt it was deserved and might be just what the team needs to snap out of their funk.

Whether they will be able to do so today against Arsenal remains to be seen.
