Tyler Robinson preliminary hearing in Charlie Kirk murder trial: 5 key takeaways from day 4

1. Judge allows redacted video of Tyler Robinson’s ex-lover

Judge Tony Graf Jr. called for redactions to the video testimony of Lance Twiggs, the roommate and ex-lover of Robinson. Prosecutors wanted to play the video on Wednesday, but the defense objected.

The defense argued that showing Twiggs discussing messages would lead the prosecution and the public to consider it a "confession" from Robinson.

Graf allowed a redacted version of the video to be played on Thursday, cutting about 16 minutes from the roughly 37-minute video featuring Twiggs.
