Bobbie Houston, the wife of Hillsong Church founder Brian Houston, took to Instagram to offer her response to Middleton's announcement, calling her "gracious" and "stoic."

"Believing for a full and thorough recovery," Houston wrote. 

"Take care of yourself and your family — and let those who are good and caring around you carry you in prayer and strength. In Jesus Name. Bless you."
