World reacts to Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis after conspiracy theories spread

Christian sports journalist and former ESPN anchor Sage Steele wrote that Middleton's cancer announcement should be "yet another lesson, another reminder of how unnecessary, shallow & cruel it is to speculate & gossip about someone."

"Never assume anything. You never know what someone is going through," Steele wrote. 

"Just. Be. Kind."
