'Avengers: Infinity War' News: On Karen Gillan's Character and the Rumors Involving Cindy Moon

Considering that "The Avengers" is one of the most loved superhero films of the current generation, there is a lot of expectation for the upcoming installment titled, "Avengers: Infinity War." Given that there are still a few months before fans can expect to see the film in theaters, the rumor mill is filling up with speculations of a new character. Actress Karen Gillan, who was cast as Nebulas has a few things to say about "Avengers: Infinity War."

According to reports, speculation of a new character originated when the name celebrity Tiffany Espensen was added to the IMDB profile of "Avengers: Infinity War." She was previously seen in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as she portrayed Cindy. In the comic book universe, Cindy is known to have the same capabilities as Spider-Man, especially since she was bitten by the same radioactive spider.

Although many claimed that it might just be a ploy by fans considering the public is able to edit IMDB profiles, the rumor was fueled when an official and verified IMDB account asked users on social media if the name Cindy was familiar to them.

"But I definitely think that all of what we've been building towards, with all the backstories between Nebula and Thanos, is definitely going to come to a head in the Avengers film, and she's definitely going to confront all of those traumatic memories. I definitely think she is going to have her moment."

"Avengers: Infinity War" is expected to hit the theaters on May 4, 2018.
