'Beauty and the Beast' Season 4 Release Date News: Premiere Finally Announced

"Beauty and the Beast" season 4's premiere date has finally been revealed, and the supernatural series is set to come back to the small screen on June 2.

In the season 3 finale, Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) married Vincent (Jay Ryan) after the latter was able to eliminate Liam (Jason Gedrick) who hindered their union. "Beauty and the Beast" season 4 is still a few months away, but there are already speculations about a new villain who might pester the newlyweds.

Although the wedding went on uninterrupted, the next season may not spell an entirely happy ending for the couple. The upcoming season will have a lot of trouble waiting for Cat and Vince, Christian Today reports.

Aside from Kreuk and Ryan, other stars featured in "Beauty and the Beast" season 4 are Nina Lisandrello, Nicole Gale Anderson, and Austin Basis, the report details.

Based on behind-the-scenes photos revealed by showrunner Stuart Gillard, the series settings have included Canada and New York. One of the photos he shared shows Ryan and Kreuk in battle. Another photo shows Lisandrello and Basis together on screen, the report relays.

As of now, other details on "Beauty and the Beast" season 4 are still scarce. What is known is that filming for the upcoming installment is already done. Viewers just have to wait until June to see what the show has in store for them.

Season 4 will be the final one for "Beauty and the Beast." However, there are some fans who still want The CW show to continue on. They have launched a petition to get the series on Netflix after season 4 airs. So far, the petition on Change.org has gotten the support of almost 800 fans, the report adds.

"Beauty and the Beast" season 4 will run for 13 episodes. The series is set to come back on television for its next installment on June 2 on The CW.
