Disney Channel's 'Girl Meets World' season 2 update: mid-season hiatus begins, penultimate characters to be expected upon return, next episode spoilers revealed

"Girl Meets World" aired its fourteenth episode for season two last Friday, which marks the beginning of the show's mid-season hiatus. The fans of the teen drama and adventure series were left with the last episode titled "Girl Meets Creativity" which is about dealing with the importance of arts and creativity.

Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her friends organized a rally to backpedal the school board's decision to abolish arts and music as valid subjects for students. They take it upon themselves to show clearly that the subjects are in fact an essential part of their education. They come up with creative ways to get their message across. As usual, the episode was filled fun and laughter along with some important lessons that young audiences can learn from.

When the show returns, the fans will be expecting a lot. International Business Times revealed that "Girl Meets World" will feature characters from "Boy Meets World." The same source wrote, "In an exclusive interview with KSite TV, the show's executive producer Michael Jacobs revealed that the whole 'BMW'/'GMW' scene is more or less like 'Our World', where everyone knows each other and we get to meet more and more people that in to this world."

The next episode is going to be named "Girl Meets I Am Farkle" and it is the first of the three new episodes which will start airing on Sept. 11, according to Cartermatt. There is no official synopsis yet but from the looks of the title, it will be an episode that will focus more on the Farkle character as he continues his journey of self-discovery.

There are also other episodes that fans can look forward to throughout season 2. These include an episode which focuses more on Cory and Topanga's relationship and also a Halloween special.

"Girl Meets World" will continue airing on September 11, 2015 at 8:30 pm. on the Disney Channel.
