'Just Cause 3' News - New Face and New Mission for Rico

"Just Cause 3," the explosion-filled game from Avalanche Studios and Square Enix, is arriving on December 1 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. A bit slower than the previous editions, however, this game allows players to go on a massive destruction binge off the Mediterranean.

The trailer of the gameplay for the PC Version has fan favourite Rico Rodriguez with a new face, doing impossible and cool stuff. He has differently-abled parachutes with him that he uses for gliding and flying across, unleashing explosions along the way.

Not all is explosions as this time around, Avalanche Studios have given the game a storyline to advance forward and the events will all be interrelated. These events will justify Rico's use of rocket launchers and other deadly arsenal.

The villain here is, of course, the moustache-twirling, cruel dictator General Sebastiano Di Ravello. The General provides enough cause for Rico to stock up more TNT to blow things up.

The plot of the story is that the moustached General has found an unlimited energy source called Bavarium on one of the lovely isles of the Mediterranean and wants to use it for his own evil purposes. So Rico pulls out all his parachutes and goes on a mission to destroy the General's bases.

The trailer shows Rico gliding down a motorway to embark on his mission. He has to destroy an enemy facility that has a base off the beautiful and picturesque Mediterranean isle Medici. He rides motorcycles at the speed of probably more than 400 miles per hour and checks in the enemy base. The enemy base is a collection of towers with numerous tiers or levels that have landing pads at each level.

Rico shoots and explodes his way through before taking off in a helicopter. He glides smoothly underneath the base and comes out from another side and goes on his explosion spree. In one sequence, he hangs upside down from the helicopter, takes aim and blows up some tower domes and tiers.

"Just Cause 3" was delayed and pushed from a summer release to December 2015.
