Marisol Gonzalez Causes Stir on Media Day

Media Day ahead of the Super Bowl is always chaotic, but this year reporter Marisol Gonzalez has added even more stir to the event.

News outlets everywhere flocked to the Lucas Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, Tuesday ahead of Super Bowl XLVI. Reporting for Televisa Deportes, Gonzalez received a lot of attention at the news event.

Wearing a bright red dress, the curvy brunette sports reporter interviewed members of both the New York Giants and the New England Patriots football players.

With over 187,000 followers on Twitter, Gonzalez is an established icon on Mexican television. The 28-year-old from Coahuila, Mexico, was in 2003's Miss Universe pageant and has hosted several Spanish-language TV shows.

Twitter users from all over the world commented on the attractive Mexican reporter, and she often received more attention and inquiries from viewers than the football players she interviewed.

"Thanks to everyone who helped find the name of this Media Day reporter in a cocktail dress," wrote Twitter user Jason.

Ride the Pine sports news network posted on their Twitter account, "The internet is literally burning down over this chick wearing the red dress at Super Bowl 46 media day."

"Marisol Gonzalez turns every single head at the Super Bowl Media Day! Check out @marisolglzz, she is a hottie!" Wrote Twitter user The Big Mug.

Sylvio wrote on Twitter, "The sultry Marisol Gonzalez set super bowl media day on fire."

Many people are comparing the reporter to Ines Sainz, the sports guru who reports for CNN en Espanol as well as Azteca Deportes and has covered the Super Bowl for almost a decade.

Also well-known for her looks, Sainz was present at Tuesday's Media Day, but toned down her appearance with a casual business look.

In other news surrounding Super Bowl 2012, husband and wife Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will open Sunday's events singing a duet version of "America the Beautiful." The Feb. 5 performance will kick off the highly-anticipated game between the Patriots and the Giants.
