'Mortal Kombat XL' Pre-Order on Xbox One Gives Access to New Characters, Skins, and a New Stage

Microsoft announced on Monday that "Mortal Kombat XL" can now be pre-ordered from the Xbox One Store. "Mortal Kombat XL" includes the popular fighting game from developer NetherRealm Studios and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Ent. "Mortal Kombat X" and several add-on content.

"One of the best-selling titles of 2015 has gone XL! Komplete The Mortal Kombat X Experience with new and existing content," states the bundle's description.

Those who will buy "Mortal Kombat XL" will get "Mortal Kombat X" plus all other content and DLC related to the title. These include old and new characters, new skins, and other packs.

"Mortal Kombat XL" will include the four new playable characters from Kombat Pack 2: "Alien's" Xenomorph, "Texas Chain Saw Massacre's" Leatherface, the four-in-one robot Tri-borg, and the drunken fist master Bo Rai Cho. In addition, it also includes previously released characters Predator, "Friday the 13th's" Jason Voorhees, Tremor, Tanya, and Goro.

The bundle also contains both already available and new skin packs to spice up the look of a character. The new skin packs are Medieval Pack and Apocalypse Pack. Previously released skin packs include the Klassic Packs 1 and 2, Predator/Prey Pack, Brazil Pack, Kold War Pack, Kold War Scorpion, Horror Pack, and Samurai Pack. There's also the Cosplay Pack, which reimagines Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs as Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu Ninjas.

"Mortal Kombat XL" owners can use these characters in their new skins in a brand-new environment called the Pit Stage.

Klassic Fatalities 1 and 2 will also be available to those who will purchase "Mortal Kombat XL." Klassic Fatalities 1 features fatalities for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya, and Johnny Cage, while the second fatalities pack features those of Mileena, Kitana, Kung Lao, and Jax.

"Mortal Kombat XL" is scheduled to release on March 1 to Microsoft's Xbox One. The bundle costs $59.99.
