'Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness' and Two Other NIS Titles Coming to North America in 2016

NIS America had its annual press event in San Francisco recently and officially announced that three new games, "Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness," "Touhou Genso Rondo," and "Yomawari: Night Alone," will be coming to Sony's PlayStation 4 and PS Vita this year.

"Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness"

"Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness" was launched as an Xbox exclusive in Japan in May but is now making its way to the PS4 and PS Vita. The title is based on the "Psycho-Pass" anime's first season "Mandatory Happiness" with additional backstory. It takes players to a dystopian world that requires them to make a number of decisions that will affect the game's direction and their character's story. Players can choose to play as a hot-headed enforcer or a serious inspector. The game will be available in both digital and physical formats in "late 2016."

"Touhou Genso Rondo"

NIS America is also bringing Cube Type's "Touhou Genso Rondo" (working title) to the PS4. The game, which was released in 2012 to the PC, is a fighting game with shoot 'em up elements. Players can fight in both close-range melee attacks and long-range combat using energy projectiles. The game features new characters, story segments, and three modes: Story, Arcade, and Boss Rush. "Touhou Genso Rondo" will be available in North America and Europe in the summer of 2016, according to Siliconera.

"Yomawari: Night Alone"

As a follow-up to 2014's "htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary," NIS America is bringing another horror title to North America and Europe. This is the survival horror game "Yomawari: Night Alone." Players take on the role of a young girl who goes out to search for her sister and lost dog. But at night, the town changes and players must guide the little girl away from the grasp of spirits and other creatures lurking in the dark. "Yomawari: Night Alone" will be available to PS Vita gamers in late 2016.
