'Scandal' Season 5 Episode 15, Olivia Helps Mellie Fix Her Public Blunder?

As if the events in episode 14 of "Scandal" season 5 weren't chaotic enough, spoilers reveal that the upcoming episode will put Olivia in another situation where she has to be wise on her next move.

According to the synopsis obtained by Spoilers Guide, Mellie (Bellamy Young) will make a rather public scandal and this time, Olivia (Kerry Washington) won't just dive into the situation to save Mellie from the fall.

As expected, Mellie will run into Liv's door and ask her for help to manage the issue that could cause her to lose the presidential bid. While the ladies have already worked together in several occasions despite the awkwardness, it seems Liv won't just say "yes" easily this time.

Being Fitz's (Tony Goldwyn) ex-girlfriend is already too stressful for Liv and this time, she is being asked to work with her former flame's wife. Liv has fixed a lot of things for the couple in the past and she might eventually help Mellie out, especially since she knows that Mellie's candidacy may be at risk due to the faux pas.

As fans already know, both ladies have their own reasons for wanting to get back into the Oval Office. A joint mission between the two could mean success for Mellie's campaign but could also be a very risky path for Olivia to take.

Another issue that the women have to consider is the past scandals that intertwined their lives together. Mellie is not over the fact that Liv had an affair with Fitz. On the other hand, she knows Liv is the only person who can help her out of the mess. As mentioned, they have worked together but the mess that Mellie will be put into is something even more critical than the previous projects they worked on as a team.

Meanwhile, David (Joshua Malina) will see himself in a rocky cliff as he is torn between Liz (Portia de Rossi) and Susan (Artemis Pebdani). Confused and unable to handle the heated situation, he will ask help on how to manage the bizarre love triangle.

Episode 15 of "Scandal" season 5 titled "Pencils Down" airs on Thursday, March 24, 2016 on ABC.
