'The Affair' Season 4 Rumors: Noah to Have a New Love Interest

While it was thought that Noah (Dominic West) may have finally found his forever in the person of Juliette (Irène Jacob), rumors claim that the upcoming season 4 of "The Affair" will feature the pair parting ways.

With the season 3 finale of "The Affair" featuring Noah returning to America alone after Juliette opted to stay in Paris, many fans could not help but opine that the romance between the two would not last. However, if reports are to be believed, speculations on Noah and Juliette eventually breaking up may become real, indeed, as reportedly, the disgraced author will find a new love interest when "The Affair" returns for its next season.

According to spoilers, the new woman in Noah's life is the principal of the school where he teaches, Jenelle (Sanaa Lathan). Reportedly, while Jenelle is a tough school principal, she will develop a soft spot for Noah. As the new "The Affair" character will recur, it is suspected that she will be around for a while as Noah's new love interest.

However, a new love interest is not the only thing that fans can look forward to in "The Affair" season 4 as far as Noah is concerned. Spoiler reports also claim that the author/teacher will meet a student who will eventually become his protege, Anton Gatewood (Christopher Meyer). Allegedly, while Anton is brilliant and has supportive parents, he does not know how to handle the expectations of people who believe in him.

While it remains unclear what Noah's role in Anton's life will be, it is speculated that it may have something to do with him helping the young boy fix his life. If this is really the case, it may be a chance for Noah to redeem himself from his past wrongdoings.

As of this writing, Showtime has yet to announce when exactly it will air "The Affair" season 4. However, it is speculated that the drama series will return for its next season in 2018.
