'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Midseason Premiere Spoilers: Icon Scene From Comic Series Could Be Around the Corner

With the return of "The Walking Dead" fast approaching, it was hinted that major characters of the series will be faced with their most difficult challenges yet.

The midseason finale of "The Walking Dead" season 6 showed Rick and the group struggling to maintain safety when a horde of walkers broke through Alexandria. With that, they were forced to evacuate the place by disguising themselves with blood and organs of dead walkers.

Titled "No Way Out," episode 9 of "The Walking Dead" season 6 is said to continue from where it left off. Fans will see the group escaping Alexandria. According to AMC, the synopsis for the episode reads, "While trying to escape Alexandria, Rick and his group meet trouble when sudden noise draws walkers towards them with what could be fatal consequences."

Avid fans of the comic book speculate that this could be referring to an iconic scene in the comic series. It was rumored that Jessie will see her death after trying to save her son. The scene from the comic series had Jessie holding on to her son, who fell into a group of walkers, while grasping Carl. Because of that, Rick ended up chopping Jessie's arm off, which caused her to fall into the walkers with her son.

Meanwhile, SFX Magazine also revealed some shocking details about the other characters of the series when they got a chance to visit the set. It was stated that Maggie and Carol will also have to deal with their own problems when the season returns.

According to SFX, there will be a scene in the upcoming season that features Maggie and Carol having a disagreement in the woods. It was said that they are debating on what to do with a man they found in the forest.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 midseason premiere is expected to air this Feb. 14 on AMC.
