Sullenger also pointed to abortionist Dr. Shelley Sella, who reportedly stabbed an infant born alive during an abortion at the late Dr. George Tiller’s Women’s Health Care Services clinic in Wichita, Kansas. In 2008, Tina David, a licensed practical nurse at Tiller’s clinic, informed Operation Rescue about the alleged infanticide.

David said that she saw a baby delivered around 35 weeks gestation during an abortion at the clinic. She claimed that Sella looked at her before picking up a utensil and stabbing the baby, twisting the instrument until the baby stopped moving. Operation Rescue reported the incident to the Wichita Police Department.

The baby’s body was burned in the crematorium at Tiller’s clinic, according to Operation Rescue. With no body to conduct an autopsy on, the allegations against Sella could not be proven. As LifeSiteNews reported, Sella canceled her Kansas medical license a few months after the alleged stabbing and opened a late-term abortion practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
