3. Flynn used AI to generate love songs for Botner that mentioned God
After Botner’s testimony concluded, two artificial intelligence-generated versions of a song with lyrics Flynn wrote for his mistress were played in court. The lyrics include: “In the third of every month, I still say your name like maybe the Lord might actually hear me pray.”
Other lyrics read: “Heaven was close but is just out of view. Earth is now empty since the moment I lost you.”
The songs were played at the end of the trial’s fifth day, following testimony from Joseph Wilhelm, a special agent in the cybercrime unit of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, where he examines “digital evidence.” Wilhelm, who found the songs while analyzing Flynn’s digital devices, said one version was “a happier upbeat sad song” and the other was “a sad sad song.”
