Maj. David Stuckenberg, who currently serves as acting director of strategic plans at HQ Texas Air National Guard, Camp Mabry, is one of the most recent entrants into the Republican presidential primary. Stuckenberg is making reforming national security and the economy as well as stopping illegal immigration the main pillars of his campaign.

Noting that he has “20.5 years of experience as a special operations officer and national security strategist,” Stuckenberg vowed to “ensure that our nation’s military is the most powerful on earth and that our military culture rewards merit — not woke policies that weaken.” When it comes to the economy, Stuckenberg is calling for the reduction of all U.S. tax brackets by 33% and the elimination of the inheritance tax.

“The United States must not succumb to the failed idea of multi-culturalism which has badly damaged Europe’s economy and the internal stability of multiple nations,” the candidate’s position statement on immigration declares. “This issue must be SOLVED, not edited.”

While signaling his intention to “use the military (under Title 32) to close our borders to stop the influx,” Stuckenberg is expressing a desire to “provide illegals already here a 60 day period to register, undergo a health screening, and a background check.” He maintains that “these steps will add an estimated 8-10 million people to the US tax base” in addition to freeing people “from trafficking and slavery” and enabling the U.S. to “rise to a better version of ourselves to care for and help those in need.”
