Biden won the most states out of the three Democratic presidential hopefuls, clinching as of Wednesday morning Idaho, Michigan, Missouri and Mississippi.

For his part, Sanders won North Dakota and maintains a slight lead in Washington State, albeit the race is considered too close to call as of early Wednesday morning.

“We share a common goal and together we are going to defeat Donald Trump,” stated Biden as a call for unity after securing a win in Michigan, as reported by msn.com. “Winning means uniting America, not sowing more division and anger.”
