5 things to know about pipe bombing suspect Brian Cole Jr.

2. Cole is a 2013 high school graduate 

The criminal complaint against Cole identifies the suspect as a 30-year-old resident of Woodbridge, Virginia, who is “5 feet 6 inches tall” and “wears corrective eyeglasses.” The legal document did not include additional information about Cole’s physical appearance, but an image released by the U.S. Department of Justice on Thursday revealed that Cole is African American.  

A list of Hylton High School’s graduating class of 2013, compiled by the publication Inside NOVA, reveals “Brian Jerome Cole Jr.” as one of its members.

Prince William County Public Schools Director of Communication Diana Gulotta confirmed to USA TODAY that Cole attended and graduated from the institution.
