Britney Spears' hair has taken a rainbow look as the X Factor judge showed off her new style at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas recently.

Spears' blonde hair was accented with vibrant blue, teal and hot pink tips.

She first featured the multi-colored hair at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Vegas at the weekend, but it was not the only appearance for the do. She was also seen out and about with the hair style in Calabasas, California on Monday.

Spears' look has been under the microscope more than usual lately with her new role as a judge on hit TV show the X Factor.

According to The New York Post, Simon Cowell has not been to impressed lately with how Spears has been showing up at recordings. He has allegedly told her to clean up and look her absolute best, according to the Post.

"It was made clear she is expected to be impeccably dressed and made-up for the show. And none of those ragged hair extensions," according to the Post.

There were even rumors that Cowell had suggested Spears fire her stylist and bring in someone new. However, according to the publication a representative for the X Factor flatly denied that Cowell had demanded any such thing.

However, sources have told the Post that since Cowell's comments Spears has showed up impeccable to every single show ever since.

The X Factor has gotten off to a good start, and the relationship between Cowell and Spears as well as Demi Lovato has been praised by most critics, who have said the chemistry between the judges has been solid so far.

Cowell has previously praised Spears' judging skills leading up to the X Factor premiere, and also said she can be a strong critic when needed.

"She's very unpredictable. She has taken this very seriously and she's surprisingly quite mean," Cowell said. "In the past we've had judges that never say no. [Spears] can't say no quick enough on this show. She's quite difficult to please."
