Brody Jenner Explains Missing Kimye Wedding, Kim Kardashian's Reaction

Brody Jenner, the 30-year-old step brother of Kim Kardashian is finally explaining why he did not attend her European wedding to Kanye West.

Kardashian, the 33-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star married 37-year-old rap mogul West in Italy with celebrations in Paris last month. Now, Jenner is taking to his online show, "The Brody Jenner & Dr. Mike Dow Podcast" to explain why.

"Realistically, I had work commitments. And, you know, it was a long way away," Jenner revealed. "It was in Paris, it's not like it was right down the street. So that made it a little more difficult."

Despite media reports, Jenner insisted he and Kardashian were on good terms even though he could not attend the nuptials.

"I wish Kim the best … I told her I wouldn't be able to attend — she had no problem with it — and I think that that is all that matters, cause Kim was the one getting married," Brody explained on his show. "As long as Kim is OK with me not being there, I gave her all my best wishes — she's cool with it, that's all that matters," he spilled.

However, Brody was not the only person that skipped out on the wedding. Kim's brother Rob, and Kanye's friend rap mogul Jay Z were not in attendance, nor was his famed wife Beyonce Knowles.

Kris Jenner, the Kardashian matriarch, spoke about the famous couple's absence from the high profile event.

"There was so much commotion and excitement, I never really gave that a second thought," Jenner told Australian breakfast radio co-hosts Kyle and Jackie O previously. "If you had been there, you would have thought that was the last thing on anyone's mind."

French Montana, the rumored boyfriend of Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian, was also missing from the Italian wedding that made headlines for weeks. In Diddy's new song, "We Dem Boys" remix, French Montana raps about his reasoning for failing to appear at the highly publicized wedding.

While the reasons are unconfirmed, the rapper may have been denied access into the European country.

"You can't be serious. Denied my visa, missed that marriage up in Paris," he rapped.

Still French Montana seems to be getting close to Kardashian's family including her older sister Kim.

"Shout out to my BFF @kimkardashian for coming out tonight party was turnt up #luv," the rapper captioned an Instagram photograph taken with Kim while partying earlier this year.
