Christian Camping Int./USA to Hold National Conference
Christian Camping International/USA will be holding its 2004 National Conference & Exposition in Savannah, Georgia, this year from Dec. 5-8.
With over 1,000 member organizations, including Southern Baptist Camping Association and Young Life, CCI/USA is the largest of 18 autonomous associations on six continents.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Deep and Wide.” Conference attendants will get a chance to participate in seminars that will feature both a “practitioner” and an “outside” expert, offering a double-edge sword approach to camping strategies.
During the gathering, there will be a one-day “Exhibit Fair” for organizations to lead attendants in workshops and informational sessions. A special to this year’s conference is “Field Games Extravaganza!” which is a hands-on activity demonstration for program leaders looking for new ideas to incorporate into their ministries.
On Dec. 4, one day before the conference begins, CCI/USA Board Chair Larry Beatty will be leading “The CCI/USA Open” from 1-5 p.m.
