'Devious Maids' Season 4 Cast News: Eva Longoria Coming To The Show

The upcoming season of "Devious Maids" promises nothing but excitement and "desperation" as the "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria is set to appear in the fourth season.

TV Line obtained some catchy information about the cast of season 4 and it appears that the actress who happens to be an executive producer for the show will be making an appearance in the much-awaited season.

It is unclear what role she will take on or if she has decided to be a regular in the series, but Longoria's addition is expected to further increase ratings as she has received praise from all around for her performance in "Desperate Housewives."

Another star confirmed to be joining season 4 is James Denton, who is also a "DH" alum. According to the outlet, Denton will be playing the role of Peter. Denton's coming is particularly intriguing to many as his role will be that of a movie studio head who "falls hard and fast into a new relationship," meaning there is a good chance he will be in a relationship with one of the maids.

Peter will obviously be a good partner for any of the maids, and even if the person he will fall for has not been revealed, some fans are already pitting Carmen and Rosie (Dania Ramirez) for the rich guy.

As for other recurring roles expected to appear in the season, Sol Rodriguez will crash the party as Daniela. Unfortunately for Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez), who shares the same dreams and aspirations with the young Latina, it seems Daniela's entry won't be a good thing for the equally ambitious beauty.

It is rumored that Daniela and Carmen will be butting heads in the upcoming installment, and as a heated confrontation between the two occurs, fans are definitely in for a fun-filled season.

In season 3, Marisol (Ana Ortiz) introduced her boyfriend, Jesse (Nathan Owens), and reports confirm that Jesse will be a season regular to give the maid her piece of spice in life.

"Devious Maids" returns to Lifetime in 2016.
